Celebrating Women in Construction!
Brian has a career in Emergency Medical Services spanning over 32 years with many of those years spent in 911 service working 24-hour shifts.
Originally from Elkhorn Nebraska, Brian got his start as a volunteer EMT/FF after being an Explorer. A few years later he joined the US Navy and sailed to Millington Tennessee where he was stationed at Naval Hospital Millington and served as a Hospital Corpsman. After serving one tour and being discharged he returned home and rejoined at the fire department and got a job at an ER as an ER tech. He worked in the ER for a few years while attending paramedic school. Once completing paramedic school he started working for Omaha/American Ambulance Service. He was promoted to Paramedic Coordinator where he managed all ALS providers and their QA/QI.
Brian then went on to the Johnson County Med-Act in Kansas. He retired as a Lieutenant and was involved in a few of their special operations groups to include serving as Haz-Mat Tech, and Disaster Medical Specialist.
Brian has lived in the Kansas City area for the last 20 years with his wife Stephanie, 3 daughters, and 2 dogs. They all frequently travel between Omaha NE, and Wichita KS to visit our families. In his spare time, he enjoys BBQ and hunting/shooting.
