MMC is an experienced on-site medical provider that understands the unique challenges of the construction industry. We have enhanced services to manage the emerging risks associated with an aging and traveling workforce. This industry is now a culture that genuinely cares about its workforce and wants to offer more than a paycheck! In the spirit of collaboration, our on-site clinics can now reflect a variety of mental health and wellness initiatives to support the entire workforce. Specialty Clinicians are available full and part-time.
All specialty clinicians have the option to be "roaming clinician," where they will travel between workplaces and job sites depending on need. We use a standard operating protocol for all sites and tailor it to your specific needs. This guarantees our customers the same high standard of quality for each patient encounter, regardless of location or project size. The client will have the ability to utilize the clinician as they see fit, setting the schedule to meet project needs and be available for high-risk activities.
Employers have recognized the need for alternatives to existing healthcare systems and their annual cost increases. Utilizing a mobile clinician is one method to control costs and improve health and productivity. Services are customizable and can move beyond traditional on-site care. The clinician can travel in a client-provided vehicle branded with your logo or MMC can provide a MMC branded vehicle at a monthly rate.
Providing on-site mental health counseling gives the worker a safe place to talk and helps foster a culture of caring. Behavioral health counseling offers immediate confidential support for many issues and will provide referrals for family members who may need assistance. We also offer on-site or virtual mental health first-aid training.
MMC's Physical therapists (PT) focus on injury prevention and a comprehensive approach to the mitigation of construction injuries. The PT examines and develops a treatment plan to improve mobility, reduce or manage pain, restore function, and prevent disability.
Occupational therapists (OT) treat injured, ill, or disabled workers through the therapeutic use of everyday activities. They help these patients develop, recover, improve, as well as maintain the skills needed for daily living and working.
Our Certified Athletic Trainers (CAT) operate within OSHA's definition of what is classified as a first-aid intervention. They provide workers with education and consultation related to the early signs of musculoskeletal discomfort and will identify these warning signs and educate the employee on the actions they should take to prevent them from developing into a workplace injury.
Our health and wellness coaches (HWC) work one-on-one with workers who want to improve their health and well-being. Using concepts drawn from psychology, behavior change, and life coaching fields, an HWC helps individuals overcome obstacles to maintain healthy habits for life such as:
