Case management is a dynamic process that assesses, plans, implements, coordinates, monitors, and evaluates a patient's care to improve outcomes by:

• Proactively managing all active claims to assess progress/response to treatment, prevent lapses or delays in treatment, obtain regular updates on work status, and facilitates injured worker's return to work
• Serving as liaison between medical providers, rehabilitation providers and injured workers for coordination of care to expedite appropriate medical treatment and communications with the worker's compensation management team
• Monitoring employee work-related illness and injury trends and assessing, developing, and implementing strategies to prevent work-acquired injury or illness and expedite return to work.

Telemedicine is the practice of medicine using technology to deliver care at a distance. Telemedicine can be used to supplement MMC's presence onsite by providing an option for workers/safety team members to call during off hours or when workforce numbers are low and do not warrant a clinician. Corporate: This can be a great solution for groups with smaller projects close together to use as a home base, employee processing centers, offices, etc. These clinicians can provide an array of services including but not limited to: BLS/ALS, substance abuse testing, medical screenings and surveillance, case management, and health and wellness initiatives (health fairs, pop-up clinics).

Roving Medics: Roving medics are commonly found in pipeline and infrastructure work, where the job site may extend for miles or even across borders! They will operate out of a vehicle or designated area and be available to travel and be on-call during work hours around the designated area.

On-site injuries can result in significant financial loss in addition to risking the safety of your employees. As such, our medical clinics will provide all necessary training, professional staff, and supplies to guarantee optimal employee health. 

BLS (Basic Life Support) and ALS (Advanced Life Support) have several key differences, mainly the level of care provided, required training, and equipment. BLS is included in our standard services, and it commonly involves patient stabilization via CPR, rescue breaths, or defibrillators until further help arrives. ALS involves a much higher level of care and more specialized training, with examples being IV access, cardiac life support, and airway management.
